Tom Brown


Tom Brown is the co-writer of the two-act musical Fat Shirley's: A Trailer Park Opera which has been performed at numerous theaters in the Southeast and has also been on tour in the United Kingdom. Other stage productions he has written songs for include Redneck Reunion and Twisted Roots. Tom was selected for the ASCAP sponsored IBMA Songwriters Showcase 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2007. He has had numerous songs recorded including Bound For To Leave recorded by Jeanette Williams and released in the fall of 2011. In addition to songwriting he has written numerous music related articles which have appeared in Bluegrass Now, The Old Time Herald, Silver Strings, and the SEBA Breakdown.
